Unigine Corporation dezvăluie OilRush
Unigine Corporation a anunţat că va lansa spre sfârşitul anului hibridul RTS/tower defense OilRush, dezvoltat pe baza engine-ului propriu.
Acţiune se va desfăşura într-un univers post apocalyptic, în care planeta a fost acoperită de ape, jucătorii urmând să lupte pentru a obţine controlul asupra unor platforme petroliere. Odată controlate aceste platforme, banii obţinuţi din vânzarea petrolului vor putea fi folosiţi pentru crearea unor armate cu care să fie cucerite noi teritorii.
Pe lângă capania single-player, OilRush va include şi suport pentru meciuri multiplayer pe LAN sau online.

Unigine Corporation dezvăluie OilRush
Unigine Corp. announced today OilRush naval strategy game for Windows, Linux and PlayStation 3. The game is based on the proprietary Unigine™ engine and is developed independently by Unigine Corp. internal team starting from 2009.
OilRush is a real-time strategy game based on the group control. It offers mechanics of a classical RTS combined with a Tower Wars genre: control construction and upgrading of production platforms as well as their defence forces, and send battle groups of naval and air units to capture enemy's platforms and oil rigs.
Challenging gameplay takes you through rushing swarms of furious enemies in every battle. The winning requires intellegent branching of technology researches and all the variety of tactics you can engage.
Multiplayer over LAN and Internet is also available in the game.
In the post-apocalyptic flooded world there are two things running short: oil and time. The last survivors in a desperate desire to seize control and dominate the enemy have started the naval warfare that made the whole world one large battlefield.
The key of survival in the devastated world is to keep forcing the high-paced advancement of military technologies never ceasing to introduce new types of combat units. In these harsh and cruel times, oil is thicker than blood.
Strategy game has never been so impressingly photo-realistic, especially considering moderate hardware requirements: the game runs smoothly on middle-end PC and PS3. The visual excellence of OilRush is powered by top-notch render of Unigine engine allowing tons of special effects.
OilRush catches the eye with huge battles, plenty of explosions and burning wrecks in swirling waters as the sky is streaked with fiery traces of dashing missiles. Ultimately devastating nukes look even more spectacular bringing death to the rest of humanity.
At the moment the game is at the end of production stage: release on Windows and Linux is planned for Q4 2010. OilRush will be distributed digitally on PC and PSN.

Ultima data cand l-am jucat (acum cateva luni bune) era plin de buguri grafice si nu prea intelegeam ce trebuie sa fac, pe langa faptul ca m-am chinuit ceva ca sa-i schimb limba de pe rusa pe engleza.
