Assassin's Creed patch in the works

French publisher Ubisoft has announced that it will release a patch for the PC version of Assassin's Creed, which will remove the support for DirectX 10.1, while at the same time adressing the majority of the reported glitches. A potential release date however was not offered.

In addition to addressing reported glitches, the patch will remove support for DX10.1 in order to rework its implementation.
We don’t have an exact date for the release of this patch but we’re hard at work and hope to have further updates soon.
