These days I hear lots of people saying “SiN! What a game!” I remember, back then…..I didn’t really cared. True! I’ve never played it. I was probably busy with something else. Now, I’m an adult and I’m busy with games. Hmm, wrong, but true. Back to SiN. It all started bad for the developers. When they released it, the game was buggy and on top of that, Half-Life came around. So, the sequel is out, but wait, it’s just the first episode of a nine part series and unfortunately, it’s all single-player for now, though I hear they will release the multiplayer modes soon.
You play Col. John Blade aka Boss for JC and Jessica, your partners in this operation. You’re in Freeport City, a metropolis partly controlled by a mega-corporation called SinTEK owned by Elexis Sinclair, a mad bio-chemist and a very naughty “gifted by nature” girl. Sometimes, I really wish they were real. The game starts with Blade in Elexis’ lab, being injected with something. Of course, we get to see Elexis’ “weapons” in their full size and damn they’re big. Jessica breaks in, unfortunately, and that’s how your lab rat career ends.
Being in car with Jessica and given her reckless driving style, you pass out a few times and guess what? You see Elexis in all her beauty. I must confess that Elexis, in the form you see her today, probably is one of the most beautiful villainess ever found in a game. So that’s how you begin play Sin Episodes. Unfortunately, there are no other instant-love moments during the game, so we can only hope the next ones will deliver some more quality time with Elexis. Just please don’t kill her. Make her Blade’s pet or something.
