Post Mortem is a masterpiece, which, along with Syberia, marked the start of the renaissance era. Did you visit the museum? Have you seen the last original Post Mortem game? Remember, everything started with Post Mortem. Sorry teacher, but why isn't Still Life there too? Is it lost forever? Do they know anything about it? Heh, Still Life is still a legend. It seems that back in the old days, the French from Microids were determined to produce a game based on the same dark and mysterious universe. Sorry teacher, the French? Come on, what do they teach you in the political history book? Haven't you found out about the late European Union and its members?      Ok, let's see what this old man remembers. That's a very old legend. My grandpa knew it from his grandpa and so on. It seems back in those days there were still miracles happening around people, but they were so blind because of the multiplayer that they refused every game that didn't have an online section in the menu. I think this mistake, took place some good hundreds of years ago. It's hard enough to tell these things happened but I can give you many interesting details. As I said, back in those days the French from Microids launched Still Life, an adventure inspired from Post Mortem, but unique in his own way. In the game, the main character is an FBI agent called Victoria and she has some strange cases to solve. It seems she had problems with a serial killer who not only used to drown his victims but cut their throats and eviscerate them too. Eviscerate teacher? Yeah, sort of a more advanced skinning skill for you. Please don’t interrupt me. Things get serious when a fifth victim is discovered because the number of the victims was getting higher and higher and Victoria didn't have any clues or leads to start from. So, so, so? Tired, Victoria goes to her father's home to spend Christmas and their discussion easily brings up the past, a dark past, much like the present Victoria is living. Haunted by the past, Victoria searches through some belonging of her grandfather, just to discover a notebook with some disturbing thoughts he had when he was living in Prague. Yeah, her grandfather is Gus McPherson, the main character from post Mortem, but this time he's in Prague, not Paris.
