Is the RPG genre exclusive? Well, this is a matter which raises a few questions even today. What's sure is that RPG fans are spending the largest amount of time in front of their PCs, a lot more than others do. On the other hand, you could say their IQ is higher, as they are considered the gaming intellectuals. Still, this is not the time and the place to analyze such things, as I'm just trying to expose a few basic clues for those whose perspective about gaming is rather narrow. Most RPGs ask from their fans a certain amount of knowledge and a certain state of mind and I'm especially focused here on antic, medieval or fantasy ones. If you are a part-time gamer, part-time employee, they might do you some good. For the moment, let's talk about the newcomer called Kult: Heretic Kingdoms. Don't let the name scare you. It's a classic RPG where such elements are combined with the hack&slash type of action. Is it bad, or is it good?!?! Let’s check it out!

I think most of the Diablo and Dungeon Siege fans will be attracted by this game, rather than Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights worshipers. As there were so few RPGs lately, this title could be welcomed by everyone. The hero, or, in this case, the heroine, is placed in a world where heresy is a daily job. This is why she is part of an inquisition, but we know, as history tells us, that there weren't such women during the course of mankind's evolution (all inquisitors were men). Who knows? Probably the developers were imbued with feministic principles and this is why they tried to create such a lovely RPG soap opera. Well, it's ok.....let's move on.
This girl, Alita, the bad Alita, should be mankind's savior, called to annihilate the forces of evil. Nothing new around here! Now it's pretty much the time to ask yourself whether you should really play this game or not. Frankly, I think you got the idea, but if you want to be sure, read more. The main goal of our Alita is to destroy a relic considered dangerous by some. As you play, you'll find yourself trapped inside the struggle for power between two factions: some sorcerers who want the power (what power?) and the members of a sect who try to resurrect their dead God. Unfortunately, I enjoyed too much waiting for this game. Reality showed me that excessive marketing is a story without happy end. The world our beloved developers created seems original, but is it originality if you copy so many ideas from so many sources?
